WEEKLY BULLETIN

1 March 2024

Welcome from the Headteacher

Dear Parents and Guardians,

A big thank to our Year 11s this week for their excellent preparation and exemplary behaviour during the second round of our PPEs.

I also wanted to give a shout to our team players for their sporting successes this week. We came 3rd in U14 Gloucestershire Schools Football finals at Cirencester on Wednesday and had some brilliant swims from the team who went to the Bristol Schools Swimming Championships last night. Well done Years 7 and 8 for your Bronze team medal and to Amber M and Elsa W for your individual medals.

We have also welcomed the Dame Kelly Holmes sponsor into our school today who very much enjoyed meeting our students and seeing them demonstrate their social impact projects. One group were making slime of all types for a club they plan to launch at lunchtime to combat loneliness and bullying and engage students who currently don't have extracurricular activities to get involved in. The second group will be doing a clothes drive to donate to local charities for those in need.

Wishing you all a bright and hopefully dry weekend.
