Welcome from the Headteacher
Dear Parents and Community
Transfer to E-ACT Update
I hope this bulletin finds you well and that your children are enjoying their learning experiences at our school. As always, we appreciate your continued support and involvement in our school community.
I want to provide you with an important update regarding the transfer of our school from Venturers Trust (VT) to E-ACT. Unfortunately, this transfer has been delayed due to several factors beyond our control:
While this delay is disappointing, I want to assure you that both VT and E-ACT colleagues are working diligently to ensure a smooth transfer. E-ACT staff are already collaborating closely with VT staff across our schools, demonstrating their commitment to making this transition successful.
At this moment, we do not know the exact date of the transfer, but we are working towards 1st September. I will keep you informed with any further updates as soon as we have more concrete information.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this transition period. Your support is invaluable to us as we navigate these changes. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely
Vanetta Spence
Headteacher

SCAFFOLDING ON CHELTENHAM ROAD You may have noticed the long-term scaffolding on Cheltenham Road near the school entrance. This relates to roof repairs being made to the flats above that are completely separate to the school. We are aware the scaffolding is taking up some pavement space, so please take extra care as you and/or your child travel to and from school if passing that area of pavement. Thank you for your patience with this. |

On 18 June, we will be restarting the phonics program to help those students with their language, literacy and reading skills. This program allows students to progress and fill any gaps they have. The program consists of 4 levels: Start the Code, Grow the Code, Complete the Code and Beyond the Code, and we will be putting students in groups for the sessions. If your child is participating, we will be in touch with you. In order to participate your child will be screened accordingly and a need identified. These sessions will run during Tutor time, four times a week. The students will be assessed midway and at the end of the interventions. |
