WEEKLY BULLETIN
22 March 2024
Welcome from the Headteacher
Dear Parents and Community
I hope this message finds you well. I would like start this bulletin by extending my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Shorrock, Ms. Macdonald, Ms. Keen, Mr. Butterworth, and our incredible students for their remarkable production of High School Musical. Their dedication and talent truly shone on stage, enriching our school experience.
Additionally, I am thrilled to share the outstanding achievement of Year 8 student, Charlotte, who represented our country with pride at the Fin Swimming World Cup in Italy. Her commitment to excellence serves as an inspiration to us all.
However, amidst our celebrations, it is with heavy hearts that we extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Darrian Williams. The tragic loss of Darrian, who was sadly taken from the community after an attack in Rawnsley Park, has left Bristol in mourning. Students from MHS attended his funeral this week, standing in solidarity with his loved ones during this difficult time. The profound effect of this tragedy reminds us of the importance of supporting one another and cherishing every moment we have together.
As we navigate through both triumphs and trials, let us continue to uphold the values of compassion, resilience, and unity that define our school community.

Welcome to Mr Bundock – Computer Science
We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Bundock, who joins our school community with a wealth of experience as an educator, having previously served in another esteemed Bristol school.
