WEEKLY BULLETIN

8 June 2024

Welcome from the Headteacher

Dear Parents and Community

After a lovely, albeit busy, start to the term, I am delighted to share some exciting news and updates with you.

First and foremost, we are eagerly looking forward to our Summer Fair on the 22 June. This annual event promises to be a wonderful afternoon filled with fun activities and a variety of stalls for everyone to enjoy. We hope to see all of you there, joining in the festivities and supporting our school community.

I am also pleased to extend a warm welcome to Mr. McBride, who has joined our team this term. Mr. McBride will be teaching Religious Studies, and we are already anticipating the exciting changes and fresh perspectives he will bring to the department.

Apologies for the misinformation in the last bulletin about Sports Day. The correct dates are as follows:

4 July - Years 7 and 8

8 July - Years 9 and 10

Lastly, a huge congratulations to Gabriela in Year 9 for advancing to the National Final for the Translation Bee at Cambridge University. This is an incredible achievement, and we are all immensely proud of her dedication and hard work.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at the Summer Fair.

Yours sincerely

Vanetta Spence

Headteacher
